Orkla Foods Norge

Orkla Foods Norge is the company created by the merger of Stabburet and TORO in 2013. The company was established after Orkla ASA’s acquisition of Rieber & Søn, which owned TORO, in the same year.

Orkla Foods Norge is a young company, but one with deep historical roots. We were founded on 1 October 2013 when Stabburet and TORO were merged. The products sold under our strong brands are enjoyed at all hours of the day. Our brands are chosen again and again every single day, because consumers both like and trust them. We take this responsibility with the utmost seriousness, striving every day to nurture and improve our brands, many of which were established 60-70 years ago.

Approximately 80 percent of the company's turnover is through grocery stores, while out of home channels accounts for the rest.
